Well this day is filled with many meanings for me. One, being a Canadian, I take time to remember the veterans who fought and lost their lives for my freedom. Sadly there are no poppies in Korea or else I would be wearing it with pride today. In Korea, today is Peppero day? I think this is bizarre and cool at the same time. For those who don't know Peppero are sticks with chocolate coating or filling..they come in all sizes. I really like them and it is nice to have a day devoted to chocolate how cool!!
And to those who know me the best... 11 11 enough said. There is someone out there with my number tatooed on his hand...whatever happened to him??? Have a good weekend all!

Ooops, guess the postcard was not a good idea!!! Actually, was thinking more of one going to grandma, Ginnie,Aunt Leona, Uncle Harry and those who don't have a chance to look at your blog. Thought they might like to see you with the wee ones from your class. I do see your point--I wouldn't want my face on a postcard. Ha! but you have a much , much prettier face than your ole aunt .
We had some excitement in Ipswich yesterday. The water treatment plant had a major leak of potassium hydroxide and we now are going into a 24 hour period with NO water. We can't drink it, wash dishes, or shower !!! Not fun. Apparently it burns --so we get updated with reverse 911 calls. Will make for an interesting day for us!!!

I had a moment of silence there by myself Friday morning, but it's not the same as wearing a poppy and taking my moment with the CBC. :(
Watched the Remembrance Day ceremony on CBC and got choked up..was never able to see it totally since I worked that day in the past. There were more people than ever present down town for the ceremony this year which made the vets happy. God love them, some were in wheel chairs. Folks cheered them on as they went passed...very impressive. A group of us went to the legion for a drink. Hope you had fun for RL's birthday..Happy Birthday to RL.
