I can officially get excited!
Today Jin walked into my class and handed me my plane ticket! I wish I was leaving today because I really need the vacation. I've had a good first year but I'm ready to get away from Seoul for a few weeks and step back into familiar English speaking territory. It's gonna be great! Can't escape thoughts of here entirely because we're planning a weekend get away for the first weekend in September. We're getting everything paid for and booked next week to ensure our spots. Where are we going? We're going to go o'l NK that's where! Adventure Korea offers weekend trips to a mountain area for hiking and other activities. Not many people can say they've experienced the North and I'm looking forward to it!!!
On another note I was checking out blogs today and I found one called Lonely Lifetime (check sidebar for link). The blog owner is trying to find homes for unwanted dogs/cats in Seoul. Also you can check out Dave's Dog House if you live in Seoul and are thinking of getting a pet. Why not save one instead of going to a pet shop? I would LOVE to get a dog but it would be so lonely because I'm never home until the evening :(
Lastly...does anyone out there watch The Sopranos?? I have a question. I am behind a bit and just started watching season 5. Can someone please tell me when the fawk did Janice and Bobby get married??? They went from flirting to married??? Did I miss something? I'm pretty sure I've watched every episode.
9 more sleeps! The countdown will continue I'm into single digits now :)

Oh sure...don't go with me!!! Fuckheads.
I'm not a fuckhead..okay well maybe sometimes. Thought you were mad..glad ur not. I'm sure there will spots left when you are ready to reserve one in August. We need someone experienced in NK to come with us and be a kickass tour guide ;)
I think it was one of those things written between seasons. There was a long delay inbetween seasons 4 and 5 so I think that they decided on forcing some progression into the storyline that they didn't have to explain.
Damn, could I go for a veal parm right about now.
How and the hell do you get to go to NK? I thought it was way of off limits (I know it "supposed" to be for us Yanks). I can't wait to hear about this!
Well my Yank friend Jes went last weekend..so I don't think there is a ban on your kind ;) It is with a group called Adventure Korea that does all kind of activities around the country here. It is pricey for the amount of time we are going but it is worth it..I'd like to have that experience.
Thanks for filling me in on the Sopranos..seriously it was weird to go from them not even doing anything to married..
