I'm not stoked about losing my kids however I found out today I don't have to change classrooms. I'm very happy that I get to remain in H class, as it has been my classroom for 2 years. Seems I'm not the only one at work getting a shitty deal student wise next term so I'm just gonna zip it and smile like I always do. Keeps them lovin me!
Since it is pretty much official now and the kids know..I can introduce you to my new kids! I am getting E class! They are going to be second year 7 year olds. Which is the same age as my kids were this year so it's cool. They are a good bunch of kids and pretty cute too! I couldn't find good pics of them on my school's webpage but I'll have an entire year to take loads of em!

Well it is great to have the class you love but you can't have them forever, they do have to move on...that's the reality of it. Consider that a feather in your hat that your teaching abilities are strong and the school wants you to take on the challenge of the children that need such a teacher. WOW, Shelly I think that is great. I can see you as being suited for that challenge. Go teacher go...I am very proud of you. L/Mom
I know I can't keep them..I guess I just have proud mamma syndrome and I don't want to let them go! It certainly will be a challenge with the new kids however there are some SERIOUSLY challenged kids coming to me from D class. Maybe a new teacher is all they need..who knows. We'll see. I am pleased with my new kids though they are really great and I know them really well already and I get to keep Sunny as my partner teacher..so it should be good. I found out that our summer vacation this year is the second last week of July...so I think I'll be coming home almost the EXACT same days as last year..like on the 14th of July till the 28th! Can't wait!
Change is good Shelly, it keeps you fresh and interested in your job. Your new kids are so lucky to be getting you!
Ian
Thanks Ian :)
