An afternoon session with Jamye Lee and Raegan.

Yesturday, I met up with the lovely Jamye Lee and Raegen and we headed to Itaewon for some afternoon drinks. Our afternoon drinks turned into an eight hour session and resulted in us running into practically everyone! It was a damn good time I tell ya!

Date night with Beaker

Last night I went over to Beakers's new neighbourhood for date night. I was a little leary when I got off the subway but turns out after a few blocks, he lives in a pretty cool area. We walked around, shopped a bit, and had some dinner. I love hanging out with Beaker :)

Because I turn everything I can into something dirty....these signs caught my attention.

Erick Morillo

Last night my friends and I took a taxi to the Sheraton Walker Hill Hotel to see the fabulous Erick Morillo spin. I really think it would have been a better show if it had of been at M2 as I would prefer to see a house show in a proper club, not the salon of a hotel. He has been one of my favorite house djs for a longg time so I was stoked to go. My only complaint would be his short set and the awful Russian dancers that kept coming onto the stage (only in Korea cause I've never seen that at a house show). However it was slammin! I had a really fun sweaty time!

It's been a nothing going on kinda week.

I have been feeling a little under the weather as of late and haven't been up to much, hence the lack of blog posts. I haven't taken my camera out of my bag, I have done nothing of any real interest. Hopefully this weekend will have a little more sparkle.

Great commercials I get to watch

Seriously AFN (American Forces Network) has some seriously lame commericals. I thought I'd share a few with you..one of them is from Japan but the ones here are just as bad! I'll miss AFN commericals when I leave here.

We are all booked and heading to Thailand for Chuseok! It's not until September but I've learned..if you want to go away for Chuseok BOOK EARLY. We are only going to Bangkok because we only have 4 full days and nights. Anyone got any good ideas of things to see in Bangkok??

My favorite band since I was in the 6th grade has been The Cure. I love everything about them. I have a Cure song for every major event in my life. Now... THIS I am throwing up in my mouth right now. I'm so disgusted.

Travelin

My travel agent that I used for my Egypt trip is in the process of booking Raymond and I to go to Bangkok, Thailand for Chuseok. I'm stoked I really need to see more of Asia before I finish up here. We also both decided to hit Taipei,Taiwan in two weeks. He found an amazing deal on flights so we're going to go for the weekend to Taipei. Then I'm going to Sunchon the weekend after. I love going places!

Hwang-Sa=Yellow dust....the one thing I hate about Korea.

It's that time of year for the widespred yellow gritty dust. I currently see nothing but dusty haze outside of my window and as an asthma sufferer it does not make my lungs happy. The dust covers just about everything and it is a good idea to keep your windows closed at all times. Yellow dust can cause a number of irritations, especially to your skin. Here are some tips if you are having skin sensitivities.

Check out the Yellow Dust Advisory for information. Today the dust is listed as health concern.
