I am so thankful this week is almost over. SO busy my head was spinning. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend of scrubbing my house from top to bottom and lounging in my pjs. Next weekend I'm having my kiddies over for a Christmas party. 12 7 years old..I must be insane. I need to rest up for that one!

It's outta sight!
So it's graduation time again and I must prepare a performance for the kiddies (which I actually love doing). This year our theme is space and frankly it is so gonna rock hard!!!!! My boss loves the idea as do I and the kids do too! Here are the songs we will be performing this year!
I can't believe there is a video for this one!! I LOVE LOVE IT! We are not singing it but the kids are going to walk through the auditorium onto the stage as this is playing only the first minute. It is so perfect!
songs we will be singing are ...
and the token kiddy song cause we have to..
An American, Canadian, New Zealand, British, Korean Thanksgiving.
Yesterday was just fantastical. I was surrounded by wonderful people, great food, tasty cocktails, and the weather was perfect. Thank you Joel for such an amazing Thanksgiving!
Things I'm thankful for this year
1. My family
2. My friends
3. Leather Pants (and the people who will wear them for me)
4. Fancy Hams
5. The sanity I still have
6. The wonderful things I've been able to do with my life
7. The ability to sort the good from the bad
8. Laughter
9. Coffee

What a mess
About an hr ago my computer screen went blank and my hard drive felt like it was on fire. So after calming myself out of a panic attack (seriously I'm a total geek I can NOT be without my computer!) I calmly unhooked everything and found out the case slides right off of my hard drive. I took one look at the fan and was mortified by the huge clumps of black dust EVERYWHERE. So with about 20 cu tips, tweezers, and my hair dryer on the cold setting I managed to clean out the fan and blow all the dust out of my hard drive. Now everything is running fine. I love myself right now.
Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends. I will be celebrating with a turkeylicious meal at Joel's tomorrow and I am more than excited about it. Gobble Gobble everyone!

NOT EASY NO MATTER WHAT YOU'RE TOLD!
Tonight I thought it would be a good idea to make chobap. I love it! Always so tasty! I figured I could do it. UM..well it was HARD HARD HARD! I should have known stuffing rice into tiny little shells made of tofu was gonna be rough but if I had of known it would have taken so much effort I might have not bothered. My students said it was so simple it sounds easy in theory..but IF I WAS A KOREAN MOM it might have been much easier!
What a day
I had my finger slammed in a metal door, I got locked on the roof of the school in the freezing cold, but my boss loves me and told me I could do whatever I wanted for graduation this year which means the kids are singing (walking on the moon by the Police, Galaxy by War, and Reach for the Stars by SClub 7 with an excellent opening with Night Flight to Venus by Boney M). I also get to eat turkey in two days for the US Thanksgiving at Joel's and I must say I am more than a little excited for it! Wooohoo!

I never thought it would be possible but I think I just may have cooked chicken curry even too hot for me to eat! I've had chefs in Indian restaurants sit and watch me eat curry they couldn't even stomach..but I think I may have out hotted myself! Now I have all this curry and I'm not sure I can finish it. Booo!

Finally
After almost two months of being in hiding I can finally step out and start living again. ALL of my university applications are now sent off and I don't have to spend anymore time writing essays or stressing out. It's all out of my hands and hopefully it will work in my favor and I'll be excepted into the ED program at Ottawa U and move home in the summer to become a student again. For those of you I haven't seen in like FOREVER we definitely need to re-connect and go out. Joel I am coming and eating your turkey next Saturday!! What's everyone up to Friday night? Let's all go out.

My day
Today we took the kids to the Salvation Army Retirement Home to sing some songs for the elderly people staying there. They really enjoy it and it gives the kids a chance to do something kind for others. They brought presents and made cards and each class performed a song. Here was our little number..
In the afternoon I played our potential graduation songs for the class. They LOVED my choices which is good. Our theme this year is space and it is going to rock sooo hard. Andrew (my favorite little guy in the class) wanted to show me some of his dance moves he thought would be good for our performance. Check him out! hahah

I still can't see...
Not sure what is up with blogger but both at home and work my blog doesn't load. I can still post which is weird..so I will. Today is a lovely fall day and I am SICK I tell ya! I think it is my curse. Every year I've been here at Father's Day I get sick. Luckily it's not laryngitis like the last two years. I just have to put my game face on for a few hrs tomorrow then I can go back to spending the weekend drinking mint tea in my pjs. Tonight a new teacher is arriving and guess who gets to play welcome wagon...ME. Other teachers even offered but no, they want me to do it. LAME. I'm sure this girl is perfectly nice but I'm fucking sick and don't wanna play nice. I have to meet her and her recruiter and help her get settled in. Luckily my Raymond is going to come too. I have the last of my Uni applications to finish this weekend THANK GOD. Then it's back to life as usual. This last month has just been one filled with stress and I'm ready to take er easy for awhile before graduation practice starts.
I've been at work since 1230pm today doing nothing. We were supposed to use this time to clean our classrooms but since I am a crazed neat freak I had nothing to do. My boss took me for lunch (best sandwich ever! Rachel Lynn would be so stoked if she were still here that a proper delicious sandwich deli opened right by work). Now I've got another hr and a half to kill until my class. The only one I teach today.
I've complained enough for today I think so I'll be back whenever my blog returns.

I can post on my blog but I can't look at it. Blogger is Fucked sometimes! We have Father's Day this Saturday at school. So I have to teach a lesson for the kids and their dads. It's been rehearsed and rehearsed so many times (not my choice) I hope they don't sound like robots. I found out today that our school's owner is letting the mom's come in a watch too. My class is jam packed with my kids alone..add in about 20 parents and it is going to SUCK HARD. I can't wait until Saturday at 2:30pm rolls around. I hope everyone had a fun Halloween!
