I'm totally in shock but after a complaint to my supervisor about my new schedule my boss gave me a choice between either my schedule or another teacher's schedule. The new schedule allows me to keep almost all of my same kids and I don't have to change classrooms and I get off early 3 days a week. Can I get a heck yes!? Only downfall is I have to teach 4 year old kiddies but I'll deal. All is right with the world again.

The love affair I had with my school for the last three years has officially ended. Turns out no matter how great you are and how valued you are - they'll fuck you up the ass if it works to their benefit. 159 days to go till I'm out of here.

Can't wait
I have been a HUGE Bjork fan since back in the Sugar Cubes days. I feel like I've been listening to her music forever. She's is ridiculously talented and inventive and she has yet to put anything out that I have not enjoyed. She's coming to Seoul this Saturday and I am going with Raymond and Cammy. I am really stoked for it. The last time I saw her in concert was about 10 years ago so I hope it rocks.

Namdaemun Gate
I know this happened on Sunday but this is the first chance I've had to sit and blog about it. One of my favorite places in Seoul has ALWAYS been Namdaemun Gate. It was the only landmark in Seoul left un-touched in its original state. All of the palaces and other cultural landmarks have all had construction done to them. It made me very sad, as it did all Koreans, when it was set ablaze Sunday evening. A 70 year old man has confessed to the starting the fire but it can't replace this once beautiful spot in the heart of the city.
